Elsie Rogers is a painter and illustrator currently studying at the University of Michigan. With a strong foundation in oil painting and drawing, her work explores the themes of emotional connection vs. disconnection, the relationship between people and their environment, and the experience of being a woman. She is particularly interested in how human presence defines and is defined by the spaces they inhabit. Elsie Rogers has exhibited work in student shows at her university, local galleries (Stamps Gallery, Makeshift Gallery, Te Arts Gallery Kavala), and the Ann Arbor Art Fair.
